Bad Points

Customer service in general - the way they speak to you, the general level of attitude amongst staff, failure to communicate their level of involvement to me, over promising (courtesy car).


General Comments

Spoke to Carcraft on the phone telling them that I need an MOT and also bodywork repairs to my car. I described the level of damage to my car. They said no problem, bring the car in, and they would give me a courtesy car and do the MOT. I arrived at Carcraft having taken the morning off work. Before I enter the office I overhear two employees saying that there are no cars available to go out. I enter the office, hand over the keys, spot the employees looking at each other warily. They ask what its in for, I repeat the conversation I had with them on the phone, and they say "We dont know if we can fix that". I needed the courtesy car as I was going away that weekend but they refused to give me a car. Some jobsworth comes out to look at my car. Barely glances at it before saying "Cant fix that, too much damage". When I said that they had agreed over the phone that they could fix it and provide me with a courtesy car he shrugged and said "Complain to customer service" and walked off. Fair enough if they cant fix it, but (a) they should have told me over the phone that they would need to look at it first, and (b) the way they spoke and treated me was disgraceful. I wasnt a valued customer but an annoyance. Carcraft then phoned me back in two weeks to see if I wanted to book the car in for an MOT.
