Good Points

Unbeatable in "value-for-money." Exceptional comfort. Great looks. Reliability (when new'ish). Sweet engine note. Pleasant ride.


Bad Points

V.quick to deteriorate if not looked after meticulously. Certain parts, screws and assemblies of poor quality - prone to rusting, liable to snap off / shear.


General Comments

The Jinlun 125 - 11 is my 1st ever bike: owned it from 8mths old to 18mths old. A dog before being run-in (min. umpteen hundred kms), but subsequently a dream. What I wasn't expecting from such a VERY inexpensive Chinese bike was that it turned out to be exceptionally faithful. Constantly getting looks & attention, with lots of people of ALL ages asking about it. Yes - about it looking more like a 600/750cc. Very practical. I passed my test on it, stress-free. Supremely comfy ride & the most pleasing engine note guaranteed that ANY trip on it was always a sheer joy. Highly impressed with helpful on-line Jinlun Owners' Club. I'd definitely recommend one - but ONLY IF you're sure you'll be able to put a lot of effort into keeping this cruiser lubed, waxed, MAINTAINED, polished, etc.
