erm....this ones going to require a very long think.....
Bad Points
unnecessary and excessive fees
unhelpful counter staff
innacurate online account details
General Comments
a pretty disgraceful bank to be honest.
Halifax fees, even for debit card customers are far too high and i am changing to a credit union in protest
a fraudster tried to hack into my account and it took halifax 10 days to open a new one - far too long considering i was supposed to be the victim of fraud.
also it takes days for them to process online transactions and the precise amount of money you have in your account rarely shows up on line either
they can be very snooty and arrogant when visiting them in person too.
they rarely tell you when they are taking fees off you either - and never tell you before its too late to cancel either.
the new account they set up for me doesn't even have cheque book access
