Rinaldi, Wakefield Review

Good Points
It was clean but to be honest the staff didn't have much else to do. Was seated straight away.

Bad Points
The menu was very basic. we ordered garlic bread to start then our main meal.We finished our garlic bread, one waiter took our plates and within 2 seconds our meal was placed in front of us. I was still eating the garlic bread!! Because there were so many staff the amount of times we were asked if we were enjoying our meal began to become a joke. When we got the staff attention for drinks it took an age to get served a couple of times i got my drink and my wife sat waiting for a glass of water we had to remind the waiter twice!!! Needless to say we wont be going back next anniversary or at any other time.

General Comments
We went to Rinaldi last night (05 06 09) for our wedding anniversary as we used to go on a regular basis,and really liked the restaurant. Wow what a transformation! The place was empty,we usually had to wait at least an hour to be seated, the staff out numbered the customers, the menu was basic nothing really stood out like it did before.The place was dead no atmosphere, the staff looked like they didn't want to be there. I don't think it will be long before either Gordon Ramsay is in there or the place closes.
