Location, Sea View, Villa clean with good standard of equipement in kitchen. Individual pool very good. Cypriot people. Keo beer very nice

Bad Points

Loads of ants near the pool, but not in villa crucially.
Typical Greek roads and half finished pavements leading to villa from main drag.
Local shops very expensive £7.50 for 4 chicken breasts £2.50 for magnum ice cream, local beer £3.20 pint, Goodfellas frozen pizza £6.95

General Comments

We stayed in Ascos Villas (no.4) through Style holidays (thomas cook) in May 2009. We had an excellent holiday. We have 2 young children 10 months and 4 years and they both loved it. The villa was very spacious, clean and the beds were relatively comfortable. All the bedrooms are air conditioned. The pool was cleaned whilst we were there and tested, however the pool was very good and to be fair didnt appear to need cleaning. The villas are to a high standard but the finish in places wasn't fantastic but I can't really grumble

The Villa is situated just off the main road about 400m walk away close enough to pop to the shop for something and far enough away not to hear the karoke at the local bars.

The resort itself is quite expensive but thats more down to the Euro than anything else, although £3 for a glass of orange juice is expensive. We hired a car and did our shopping at a biggish supermarket in kisonegra (spelling?) This we found to be much better value, had a fresh meat counter, cheese counter and bakery. We cooked a lot for ourselves in the evening and ate more out at lunch due to small children and bedtimes etc etc

The restaurants are all pretty similiar but all are good quality and the Cypriot people are very friendly.

The weather was fantastic whilst we were there so this helped greatly - if the weather had been poor not sure what we would have done though.
