Good Points

Currently there are no positive outcomes.


Bad Points

For paying over £600 a year to an insurance company and then discovering that we are not covered for the vets fees or for the cost of our much missed pet. Very distressing and appalled at the service given.


General Comments

Our dog had been insured for 8 years. Unfortunately my policy was renewed on 27 Jan but retriever was diagnosed with a tumour in his stomach and there was no positive outcome resulting with him being put to sleep. Even though the policy was quite expensive we had insured him with the kennel club since a pup and were happy in the knowledge that if anything occurred we were covered. Since Feb we have had endless problems. The policy premiums had to be paid for the remainder of the year. The vets fees have not been paid and we have not been reimbursed for his purchase price even though it states that costs will be covered if the dog is under 9 years old. I have received a cheque for £12.55 which is an insult. I would not recommend using them at all. It would have been easier placing £50 a month in a savings account and then using that for any unfortunate events. Currently contacting solicitor for advice.
