    General Comments

    I wanted to tell my story of how I got a job in IT. I had recently come out of university with a degree in computer science but was finding it very difficult to find a job as I had no experience of working in IT and was being rejected due to a lack of commercial skills. I was contacted by JustIT with an offer that sounded too good to be true. But I went along for the initial interview to have a chat with one of the sales guys and find out in more detail what it is that they do. What they were offering was training to get the qualifications that companies where asking me for which I thought made sense. I was also told that I would get help with interviews and advice with my job searching and CV skills. These were most important for me as I am dyslexic and found these things most difficult.



    I did the pay as you earn option which was more expensive, but it was reassuring as it meant that I did not have to pay the full course fees until I got a job.



    I did my A+ training and found that pace suited my learning ability and I was able to pass the 2 exams in the two week home study period that you get to revise. I was then put in to a work experience placement through the recruitment team and then soon after was sent for job interviews. I have now been happily working for a company that JustIT introduced me to and my manager in really pleased with my progress and I am loving my job.



    My experience at JustIT was a very good one. We had people of all different abilities and back grounds that made the environment a comfortable one. The help that I received from the recruitment team with interview training, tips and also help make my CV presentable was fantastic and gave me the confidence when I was in an interview.



    So if you are looking to get an entry into IT its worth checking them out.
