General Comments

Haven't flown AerLingus in years because of bad service, but recently booked flights for my children - 14 and 11 - to visit family for the summer in Ireland. Just as I completed reservation I saw that they weren't going to allow my youngest to fly unaccompanied (Continental does allow this). I immediatley called Aer Lingus to cancel the ticket (literally 2 minutes after processing) and was told by the agent "gee, I guess you have a problem." I said this couldn't have even been ticketed yet I only just completed the purchase. He told me to wait a minute and check my email while he spoke to his manager. Sure enough two minutes later there was an email from aerlingus confirming the purchase. I asked how could they refuse to let her fly when they allowed the purchase and again I was told it was my problem. aerlingus will, however, let me change the flight dates to when my youngest turns 12, even though those flights cost half what I've paid for the summer flights.
