General Comments

Alliance and Leicester internet banking is extremely limited in what it provides in terms of functionality- for example despite not receiving paper statements. you can only look back 9 months on line (no search here simply statement lists) and any further requires payment.

Customer support is pretty think on the ground and provides very little in the way of support to you as the customer. Phone contact requires patience to speak to anyone and the secure messaging system often fails to elicit a response, and when it does it is never very helpful.

On the site always appears to be broken and it is not keen on browsers other than Internet Explorer. Security uses the less secure method of requiring you to memorise of a good 4 or 5 words/pass codes rather than 2 factor authentication.
