General Comments

The HJC FS-Max is a flip front helmet with a built-in sun visor. The main part of the helmet is in fibre-glass while the chin-piece is in Polycarbonate. It has a seat-belt type chin strap.
Not had it long but this helmet seems to be very good indeed.
The vent system is brilliant and highly effective at both preventing misting and keeping your head cool. The fit is excellent , it's comfortable and a lot quieter than my previous helmet ( a Caberg) it's also lighter. The sun-visor flips up instantly at the touch of a button and the whole helmet seems to be of really good quality. Not ridden in the wet yet so I don't know how it will handle that particular problem. It stayed reassuringly un-misted in a thick fog though. Only problem at present is that the model is so new that there are no spare visors ( or any other kind of spares) to be had at present. Also the visor is pin-lock prepared but the current HJC inserts don't fit and none of the new type appear to have even been made yet !
