Terrible accounts and customer service. Utter incompetence and consistent failure to take any responsibility.


General Comments

I moved house 5 months ago, so I cancelled my Virgin Active membership in february. I was told it was too late and I would still be billed for March. Fine.
I only recently noticed that they had carried on billing my, so I rang up and was told that no, they hadn't cancelled, and unless I still had the cancellation form as far as they were concerned I hadn't cancelled. This being 5 month on after moving I can't find the form.
This is the second time they've screwed me over, having double billed me for 4 months previously, while denying everything, so i guess I should have been more anal and made sure to keep the form. My own fault?
Not sure if I'll ever see that money again. I'll have to see about whether I can cancel next months payment.
