General Comments

On March 30, 2009 Chase officially changed over from WaMu to Chase. In doing so, I never got a statement in the mail. I have always paid on time for decades. In the Chase changeover, by default, my account was set at a paperless statement - so, I did not get a statement in the mail as usual. Lo and behold my account was deemed LATE and I was charged a $39 late fee PLUS my APR was upped to 29.99%. Calls to thier help line were of NO help at all. I am sending in a written complaint today to them and also to the Michigan Attorney General. I'll bet 10's of thousands of customers were affected by this giving Chase Millions of $$$$'s in windfall profits. What a scam thrown at good long standing customers. Boooooooooo to Chase.
