General Comments

I agree, DO NOT fall for the wonderful sales pitch..... once you need to make a claim, as I did due to redundancy February 2009, helpfullness goes out of the window!!! Very unhelpful, make numerous calls, requesting can I speak to the person dealing directly with the call, Im told they dont take calls. I applied for the cover back in Feb 2009, and now its June 2009. I have filled out the numerous forms that triclke out to you.... and like one of the previous reviewers have now had a late payment, and the next one is due, still nothing from halifax, so wont beable to meet for a second month. Had to ask for loan of my parents..EMBARASSING. I urge the person who thought that Halifax are a sound organisation to cancel the Halifax mortgage protection policy and look elsewhere
