I spoke to support who were there all weekend. The guys at ekm work the clock round, does everyone have a swipe simply because they are the biggest?

I think so - HSBC went down on the same day, for a lot longer. ekm had the decency to keep everyone in the loop and had alternatives in place. No orders were lost! Hats off to ekm, you can please most people if you do things right.

    Well, as EKMPowershop summarily deleted my website because I complained about their handling of last Friday's fiasco I think that says it all about how much you can trust them.

    Build a website on EKMPowershop at your own peril because their own terms and conditions give them the right to cease service whenever they choose. And obviously they do choose to do that if you complain.

    And when they do, your website is gone, your orders are gone, your products are gone. Your domain may well be gone and your customer's emails will simply bounce back to them unanswered.
