Bad Points
Complex and misleading booking system
Hidden costs extortionate
Told jet 2 does not refund when wanting to cancel online checking.
No process for attempting to buy extra kg on outward flight
Telephone operater was rude and did not have competent use of english language.
50p per minute charges for telephone calls
General Comments
The concept of cheap flights with Jet 2 is an illusion with the hidden costs being almost secretive in the booking process. Where is said 1 bag was inclusive in the cost there was in fact a charge of £28.79, taxes, seat and booking charge raised the price by over £100.00. System said to complete online check in and save £6.00 when in actual fact I was charged £13.98 for the privilege. I will never travel with Jet 2 again.

I found this review very helpful because...it mirrored my experience. I have flown with Jet2 several times from Leeds Bradford ro Bergamo but each time the extortion of money gets worse. The latest scam seems to be that they charged me in euros (when I paid in pounds with debit card) and thus I was asked to pay £1.50 in exchange fees by my bank (plus losing out on the lousy exchange rate). As one reviewer stated Jet2 is about charging at every stage. It is not about cheap flights and we actually paid as much as a scheduled by the time we finished.
