Looked like a nice shop. It's a shame, I would have very much liked to spend my money there

General Comments

Women were rude, unhelpful, snooty (seemingly without reason) at Amy Louise Bridal. Admittedly it seems that I got my appointment time wrong, however, I had gone to the effort to call and confirm the appointment time on the day, and was told 'see you then', hence I had assumed everything was ok, only to be greeted by a lady who was really quite rude and arrogant and told me that I had missed my appointment and that all of the staff had plans and were going out that evening and therefore they would not be able to accommodate me, even for the 30 minutes before they actually closed and even though I work away in London in the week and had driven down from Hale that day.

I was clearly upset by how unaccommodating they were being, and my upset turned to frustration when I was told by the member of staff in question that the fault was in fact was my own, which I am willing to accept in the first instance, but when I pointed out, that the lady who answered the phone to me when I called to confirm should really have picked up on the fact that I had got the time wrong, I was told that I was incorrect and was basically accused of lying! Why would I lie, I had the wrong time in my Blackberry appointment, which I had read out to the lady when I made the call! Very disappointing. Really poor customer service. All I can say, is that Amy Louise must be making an awful lot of money out of all of their customers, if they can turn potential new customers away like they did me in the current economic climate!

    I totally disagree with your views and from what you've written it seems like there was a breakdown in communication between you both.

    I have had nothing but a great, top quality service from all of the staff at Amy Louise. I think you have missed out in not giving them a second chance and being a little more reasonable and understanding.

    I would totally recommend Amy Louise having visited and researched other Bridal boutiques in the area.
