Good Points

Dry grip, Wet Grip, Predictable and progressive even when they let do eventually let go, lifespan - everything!

Bad Points

The centre of the front could to with being ever so slightly harder so that it doesn't wear as quickly under sustained hard (tail in air) braking, but thats it!

General Comments

If there's one thing you can say about these Michelin Pilot Power tyres, its the level of progressive grip and feedback they give - its frankly amazing!
I run the Power 2CTs on both my K5 GSXR1000 and my K6 GSXR750 and can't find a fault with them in any way. Riding is both flat out through twisty roads and the occasional long motorway jouney. The warm-up is very quick and they even get hot in standing water when its really raining!
On the wet note, these are one of the only tyres that will go right to the edge in the wet, as most "sports" tyres don't have tread grooves all the way out and you end up sliding - the michelins just keep on gripping all the way to the point that I reckon you can ride about 80 - 80% in the wet as you would in the dry!
I do make absolutely full use of the front brakes and hence wear the centre of the front out in about the same time as the rear gets ready for changing, and thats about 4000 - 4500 on the 750 and only slightly less on the 1000. Not bad considering the thrashing I give them!
I run pressures at 32 front and back on both bikes and it really helps speed up the already fast warm-up and just gives that little bit more feedback than the usual manufacturers 36, 42 pressures. This might sound low, but they get hotter than with standard pressures, so they end up at similar hot pressures anyway.
Can't recommend them enough - buy some and see for yourself!

I had Pirelli corsa 3 on my fireblade in the dry they were good but in the rain on roundabouts I had trouble with the front tyre slipping which did not give me any confidence what so ever in the front tyre and so crap in the rain it was like riding on ice then somebody told me about pilot power 2ct and wow. I m a different rider in the dry and the wet so I would recommend these pilot power to everybody.
