Bad Points

These tablets are not cheap compared to other slimming pills but unlike other slimming pills they do work! Take my word for it or read the research, its a fact and not a con. However, if you are wanting a quick fix, no effort weight loss them expect to be disappointed. Such a solution does not exist. This product just speeds up weight loss so that for every 2 lbs you lose, you could loose an extra 1lb just by taing Alli. You do need to put in the effort but I found its much easier to maintain eating healthily when you are getting quicker results. Side effects can be unpleasant due to the way the drug works. The pack gives detailed information but to give you the jist you can expect to have oily residue when taking a bowel movement (all that unabsorbed fat must go somewhere!). Other possible effects are slight tummy pains and oily discharge throughout the day although I have never had either of these and have been taking Alli for 5 weeks. I know this sounds disgusting but I actually quite like to see the fatty residue down the loo- at least I know its not going on my thighs! To me, its just a sign the pills are working.


General Comments

Firstly, this Alli Weight Loss product is only available through a pharmacy to overweight people (bmi over 25). The reason this product is contolled like this is because there is clinical evidence that this drug works. In fact it is a lower dose of orlistat - a drug which is available on prescription only for the obese. All very encouraging. The drug works preventing the body from breaking down and absorbing fat after each meal. There are some unfortunate side effects as a result of this (see bad points). The pack I bought (from boots online) came with a free booklet which was full of advice and helpful information about watching fat intake. Also with the pills you are provded with a free mini carry case with space for 3 pill so that you can carry them around easily. Taking these tablets has worked for me and I have been losing weight for the past 5 weeks at a much quicker rate than I expected. To me the only important point about these pills is that they work and they are safe! Works very well and speeds up weight loss. Definately recommend.
