General Comments

Delta Airlines should change their motto to "customer satisfaction is NOT our policy"! We lost a day in Jamaica because of a delay from Jackson, Ms to Atlanta, Ga. We had to pay for our our food, hotel, clothing, etc... because of the layover. Delta would not arrange for our flight back to be changed a day or two later, although the resort in Jamaica would change our dates to accommodate a 5 day stay without extra charge. The staff was very rude. We got different answers from every agent that we talked to. We spent all day trying to resolve the problem with Delta just saying it was not their policy to make changes due to weather delays. It was our money and our time. They did not budge. We witnessed customer after customer dissatisfied with their concern. There were hundreds of customers that lost thousands of dollars, time and energy. The hotel they made our reservation at was below okay and in a terrible area. It wasn't even safe to go outside the lobby doors without being approached by a someone asking for money. Our party alone spent $11,000 for airline tickets alone and Delta didn't care. I will never, ever fly Delta again. This was my second flight with them with basically the same results!!!! I have learned my lesson.
