Good Points

Dedicated check in and bag drop, we have yet to have any kind of queue.
Priority boarding, sit and enjoy a drink whilst everyone else gets on.
Priority disembark, so through the airport before most people have left the plane.
Priority Luggage
38" seat pitch
Wide seats
Roomy cabin (upstairs in the bubble)
Dedicated cabin crew
Toilets: 2 to thirty people, so no conga lines
Great service and an excellent airline.

Bad Points

Once you've tried it you won't want to go back to 32" pitch in Virgin economy.
Meals: served on china, but still airline food (have had worse though!)

General Comments

We have flown Virgin's Premium Economy numerous times from Manchester to Orlando and I have to say it is well worth the extra cost.

The bubble (upstairs on a 747) is spacious and quiet, dedicated cabin crew and great facilities. The seats in premium are wide, comfortable and have a 38" pitch. Seats are two and two configuration, with a deep arm rest between and space to stand glasses (yes real glasses).

The isle is wide enough to take the cart down sideways and still have space to get past, all adds to the sense of space and saves having to time trips through the cabin with service runs.

Cabin Crew are efficent in the background and there if you need them, but there's always drinks set up near the stairwell to help yourself. Alongside this is the fruit bowl in case you are peckish.

We have flown most airlines to the US and I have to say since we moved to Virgin we haven't even considered any of the other carriers.
