Bullet proof driveline and when fitted with larger exhaust power increased and no more rattles.
Bad Points
No Airbags or ABS available and Toyota service did poor work on several occasions and expensive to service but no problems with the vehicle.
General Comments
The Toyota Landcruiser 79 Series 4.2 Turbo Diesel is reliable with over 100k on it no mechanical issues aside from exhaust rattle. Vehicle works every day and just keeps going.
