Good Points

the large hot tub style bath


Bad Points

faulty electrics, a hole around the light fitting above a bath, customer service and the fact we were left in a room with steep stairs and even the emergency light had tripped out!


General Comments

Wasn't a great 2 days as planned...we went with high expectations after being recommended by a friend of ours who had previously stayed. The first night at Aphrodite's Lodge was average although there are no wine glasses in the room and you cant have any unless you buy a drink which has never happened in any other hotel we've stayed. The 2nd night the lights went out and as we were in a attic room this was a worry as even the emergency light tripped! we reported this straight away and were offered a torch to make do with which was disgusting when we had paid £80 for a night. The next morning we spoke with the manager who basically told us it had never happened before and more or less said it was our fault and wouldnt be recieving a refund for the night! The customer service in general throughout our stay here wasn't very good and we were shocked with the managers bad handling of a customer complaint!!
