Good Points

Appearance - sleek, easy to keep clean.
Power function - great for heating large pans of water.


Bad Points

Sems that the technology is good but when it comes to basics like repairs the product lets itself down. I shan't be buying an AEG replacement and advise anyone else buying one to take out the 5 year warranty unless of course you can afford to replace every two years!!


General Comments

Generally very pleased with the AEG 67670KFN hob once I got used to the controls, very sensitive controls which is unusual for an electric hob.
Unfortunately, when using the power function the unit went BANG and then showed an electonics fault. Having called customer services and received a visit from a service engineer I was told that the fault would cost £740 to repair - more than the hob cost in the first place - how can that be? I am seriously unhappy - the hob is just over two years old and I would certainly expect an appliance to last longer that this
