General Comments

HONEYMOON NIGHTMARE
We booked our honeymoon to bali with virgin in a debenhams store. It has been a nightmare from day one. Firstly it was incredibly hard work to book it as the staff were not fully trained to do so and had to phone up, which took forever.

Secondly virgin phoned us two months after booking to say we had to change flights and leave our honeymoon a day earlier. This was because virgin had not confirmed the seats for our flights and they had now been taken. After ringing up the worldwide department several times waiting to get through for 40 minutes at a time. Finally we had no choice but to change our flights to different days due to their mistake.

Since then we have been trying to find out how people can buy honeymoon vouchers for us. We were told when booking that this would be easy to do. This has been almost impossible. Waiting again for 40 minutes to ask how to do this. People can not buy vouchers in store and have to phone up and wait to buy them or buy on website and pay a £5 booking fee.

If i could I would definately cancel this honeymoon and go with another travel agent with more experience. Most staff have no idea what they are talking about and we are constantly given conflicting information.

Please take this advice and look elsewhere for your holiday, especially if you are looking to go far away. Do not be tempted to go with virgin because they are cheaper. Believe me it is not worth the hassle.
