Good Points

Great value. Feels solid and looks fairly realistic. Functions flawlessly. Accurate -- I'm able to hit a pop can from 40 feet pretty regularly and I've never really shot a pistol before this one. I'm sure the gun is more acurate than I am.


Bad Points

Rear sight is adjustable but is of low quality. Took about 500 times dry-firing to smooth out the trigger.


General Comments

I've owned my Gamo PT-80 for about a month now and have put roughly 250 pellets through it with no problems whatsoever. It shoots straight and hits a lot harder than I expected. I've never owned a CO2 airgun before. I'm getting 50+ shots before I need to change CO2 cartriges. I think the seal problems people complain about with this gun is from overtightening the CO2 cartrige. It only needs to be tight enough to seal (about 1/2-3/4 turns after the initial puncture), any tighter and you risk damaging the seal.
