Bad Points

Admitted their own dishonesty. Incompetence was evident. The place was untidy, dirty and scruffy, even by the standards of most scrap-yards.


General Comments

I tried to buy a front Prop shaft for me Isuzu Trooper, from Jimi's Japanese Parts, through Breakeryard.

They sent a main prop. shaft, when I had clearly specified I wanted a front one.

When I rang they said they had a front prop. shaft and they would do a swap when I turned up.

When I arrived and gave them the main prop. shaft back to do the swap they did not have the part.

They kept me waiting a hour or so, then refused to refund my payment on the spot.

They just came out with bull excuses one after the other.

In his view it was all my fault, when a simple apology would have kept me happy.

The boss's excuse for not having a supervisor card on the premises to do me an immediate refund was that, 'if he did his lads would refund their own credit cards.'

So even the owner says they're not necessarily honest!

They say they have now refunded my card.

I will be checking and if they haven't I'll initiate a charge-back.

I can't recommend anybody to trust them, see above.

They wasted a day of my time, half a tankful of diesel, and I still don't have the part.
