Bad Points

Lack of communication, no idea of customer service, rude and unhelpful claims team, happy to take your hard-earned money but not interested in paying out. Avoid like the plague!!


General Comments

Absolutely useless company - you gets what you pays for with this one. Very attractive premiums, sales team upbeat and helpful but wait and see what happens when you have to claim. No idea of customer service, forgot to pass my details on to the engineers when I had a mishap, leaving me with a damaged car and no idea what was happening, had to chase them every step of the way for updates, car was deemed a total loss by repairers but I had to find this out for myself and I'm still waiting to hear from Hastings despite endless promises that "I will hear from them this week". That was six weeks ago! Phone them every working day and get fobbed off every time. Surely they are taking money under false pretences - would take them to court but I'm a realist.
