Customer service lacking, booked via Economy Car Hire in the UK and today (June 2009) still awaiting an apology, acceptance of inept service


General Comments

Air Auto Booking April 2009, Waited 75 minutes to get a P107 looked great except two chunks missing out of near side front tyre, declined this car to be given an "upgrade" to a Yaris with two bald front tyres, which was also declined, but was told by the rep that "tyres like this are acceptable to the Police in Portugal, no probelms". Ended up with a Fiesta, which albeit had seen better days did have 4 good tyres and did appear to be roadworthy at least.

They also tried to give the P107 to another client, who also declined this car after I pointed out the tyre problems.
