Good Points

24x7 Travel service. Hotel scheme status. Car rental insurance. Travel insurance.


Bad Points

Amex Plat probably gives 80% of the benefits at under 20% of the cost.


General Comments

24x7 Travel service was the reason I got american express centurion black. But my experience is pretty much the same as quite a few of the other reviews here - it is just not as good as it ought to be. To be honest, the customer service on my no-cost virgin Amex from MBNA is just as good. Worth £600 but not worth the £1,800 they now want. And there are so many different Amex cards now, I'm no sure anyone knows it ' s their top-tier product.
