The guide was flexible with the itinerary and his adjustments to the itinerary made the tour even better. He made sure all the items in the tour were covered.
Bad Points
One hotel in Phobjikha valley had no service and no electricity after 9pm.
General Comments
In March 2009, I went on a Kumuka tour of Bhutan: the Dragon Kingdom. Despite being only 9 days, the itinerary took us to most of the important sites in Western and Central Bhutan. There was no wasted time. The Dzongs/ Fortress-monasteries were amazing. My favorite two highlights were the Tiger's Nest Monastery and the Phobjikha valley. Things were on time, meals were all included, and the hotels were above average. The best part was the guide a very attentive polite man with a vast knowledge on buddhism and immense patience.
