pushy, untrustworthy found the experience intimidating. walk away and find out what other finance companies will offer.


General Comments

The Car Shop is nothing but a finance broker. We went in to buy a particular car, were offered a ridiculus px for ours, (upon checking it was the auction price not list price). Claimed that when he tried to start the car it would not start, when we have never had any probs with it.

we said that we would not part x the car, before going to the shop we phoned and said what we could pay etc and how we wanted to pay, and they told us they could do any deal.

I told them i did not want HP as we change our cars regularly and obviously with the depriciation of cars, we would end up by owing more than the car is worth should we want to change in 2 years, he then tried to tell me it was my best option but that he could sell me some 'gap' insurance.

We then said that if they reduced the price due to some damage, and tyres etc we would purchase the car outright. This is when the business manager then got his manager into the office and the hard sell to take the finance began.

After investigating this company it would appear that they make a huge amount from the finance and if you check their APR and the amount of interest that you would pay the repayments are expensive compared to a normal loan, ie they quoted us £147 per month to £180, from the bank it would be £92, (and we do have a v.good credit record).

GIVE THIS COMPANY A WIDE BERTH, Y.OU MAY THINK YOU ARE GETTING A GOOD DEAL.......BUT YOUR NOT
