Where do I start? - read the general comments!


General Comments

Well first of all I had been doing, well really badly when I first started out with Red Driving School and then all of a sudden overnight, I was brilliant. I could never had proper clutch control at all (a complete noob) and I seemed to learn it overnight! Funny I thought. A few weeks into it I was told that I can go ahead and book the test. I wanted to leave it til the next week just to make sure and then I am told by the same instructor that I should leave it another few weeks. I was told when to go at roundabouts - never learnt a thing about them. Later realised that he was working the clutch for me. He wasn't even a fully qualified instructor - very very very few of them are. THey pay £3000 or something to get into the school and they dont even pass the 3 exams. This one had passed the first 2 and failed the final part.....3 times. Needless to say he had lost his insurance after the first go and the car! I say good riddance to RED. And I hope Trevor McDonald tears them to shreds very soon! . I always heard if someone failed their test with this instructor - not of anyone passing! My reccommendation - get a FULLY QUALIFIED instructor. Wouldnt touch this crowd with a 39.5ft pole. Waste of money grabbing, selfish beep beep beeps
