Called Aer Lingus 8 different times. Each time the sale fare was available up until they went to book the names. What a scam of an airline. I will never take this airline. Horrible customer service reps. Most could barely speak english....

All Aer Lingus customer service staff speak English. Why wouldn't they, coming from an English-speaking country? I suspect the original poster does not have English as his first language, and might not understand fluency and colloquialisms.
