Good Points

Honest and open approach, will tell you what is available for you on your account, and recommend new products based on your credit score, and keep you updated with new information, therefore helping you to get the most from what the bank has to offer, the staff are in a UK Call Center in Swindon, and are readily available to help your queries, however small, and also their internet banking is easy to use, and gives you what you need to know.


Bad Points

No real bad points, although if I must chose a bad point, it would be that their cash mashines don't show your balance to include your overdraft, so your constantly having to check your overdraft is available, before you decide to make a big spend, I think their balances should include your credit balance, plus your available overdraft balance combined, that way you know what you can spend in advance, without thinking about it.


General Comments

The Nationwide Flex Account was one of the easiest accounts I have opened, it was straight forward and the staff were helpful and talked me through the whole application, where I was given an instant decision in branch. I have never had a banking relationship with Nationwide before, but they have given to me in two weeks, more than my own bank has given to me in three years, ie full overdraft, credit card and even without having my salary paid into the account, the staff in branch are courteous and always willing to help, you can generally see someone with little delay, and there Flex Account offers the best value account I have seen so far.
