ummmm - £20 per month, it would be awesome if it were free lol!

Everyone likes to have a swipe when their businesses haven't succeeded. The fact is for 20 quid a month you get a lot with ekm.

If you see their custom design portfolio, you will see how the more serious online traders get their shops looking.

I bought a fast car the other month, but I haven't won any races. Damn Porsche! I thought it would make me a good driver! See what I mean? If Mr Bean got in the Brawn GP car he wouldn't win the f1 race. EVER.

I think it depends how you go about it - if you don't have much of an idea on what you are doing, and just pay £19.99 + VAT per month with anyone (not just ekmPowershop) then you aren't going to get very far.

I have an ekmPowershop - like any online shop owner that succeeds I had to work at it. Now I reap the rewards. Tried Actinic, some rip off merchants called net director (now conveniently change their name!) and a bespoke build which was s**t and cost me thousands.

Put the effort in with ekmPowershop and you'll get further than any other platform - the SEO is ****ing great.

I spent a few hundred quid on a custom design and now you couldn't tell it apart from a multi thousand pound site.

Trust me, I've paid thousands over the years, and my business is thriving now only due to my website being with ekmPowershop.

ekmPowershop are clearly the biggest provider in their field and with that comes a lot of users. I just think a lot of these people would never make a business work - so why think setting up an online business is any different?

And then ekmPowershop get blamed! I have only ever known them to be friendly and forever pushing new features. Truly dedicated to making independent retailers thrive online!

But if you can't be a**ed putting any time in, or think they will do it for you then go back to work for the man.

It is a content management system, so yes you have to set it up yourself. But it really is a piece of p*** with ekmPowershop.

Those who have struggled with using ekm - do you also have trouble finding your mouth when eating?

It's a joke - the country's on its a**e and companies like ekm help thousands of other businesses. Get a grip if you think you can get better for £20 per month (or at least if you are going to grumble about it - get a grip full stop!)
