staff in shop have called when they say they would, dont think it is their fault, but they keep telling me diff things!


General Comments

From Ernest Jones I have my engagement ring, and both me and my husband have wedding bands...so we spent a fair bit with them. We also paid for insurance. I noticed that a stone had come off the ring, so under insurance took it back to the shop. Staff were friendly, told me should be couple of weeks, but they have to send it to HO, and the right clarity / size stone would be sourced. 6 weeks later, I am still waiting! this includes half a dozen calls to be told the ring would be back next week, then the week after, then the week after etc! They also tried to charge me £150 despite having insurance. Told them it was covered, had to give policy nos again despite booking it in with the policy. AM convinced as this is covered by insurance they are not bothered and doing nothing!

As other reviews, it is really upsetting not to have this ring, and the waiting for a set date is really frustrating. Called HO to complain, and yes, am still waiting for a call back with definate dates!!!! still waiting after six weeks for ring to be fixed...the return date keeps getting pushed back!
