Good Points

Can't think of any unless you never need to use them!


Bad Points

Customer service was awful, and the complaint afterwards about their rudeness was a waste of time, the recovery took hours longer than expected and on both occasions the driver arrived thinking I was towing a trailer with a transit, despite really clear explanations of what the vehicle was!!! Never again!


General Comments

Been with Greenflag Breakdown Cover for years, they covered both our cars, my husbands motorcycle and my ford transit horsebox. Never used them at all until the horsebox broke down, no horse inside luckily! Took them ages to understand that I had a coachbuilt body bolted onto the transit tipper chasis but we got there after the 8th call. advised driver would be with us in an hour. Two and half hours later he arrives. It'd overheated and run out of water. Chap topped us up and we went on our way. Water pipe was leaking so we replaced this later. Eight months later in a traffic jam in the middle of a village high street and roadworks horsebox dies again, call them and say I think it's over heated (steam coming out of bonnet) had been sat in jam for approx 1 hour. They said it was same fault as last time and I wasn't covered. Despite explaining about the jam and the time I'd been there and the replaced water pipe it took me several phone calls, my husband several phone calls on my behalf for them to even agree to come out. The customer service woman was rude and unhelpful, bearing in mind that I was a young female, blocking an entire high street and had lots of people hurling abuse at me because I was in their way. They quoted an hour, despit the fact that the police came along mid call and said I had to move within half an hour or pay for them to tow me, and didn't seem to care how awful the situation was. Eventually another policeman took pity on me and towed me out of the way with his land rover defender. I'd been blocking the high street for over two hours. The radio carried the news and Greenflag arrived an hour after the police moved me.
