The disigner was very nice until I pointed out to him that he failed to advise me to have a ventilation outlet around the fridge.
Bad Points
They don't supplly the ventilation grill. Why? And don't even mention ventilation when designing the entire kitchen. Some of their fitters are almost conmen. They are not to be trusted. Managers are useless.
General Comments
Magnet Kitchens totally failed to tell us the fridge unit needed ventilation. Total refusal to admit responsibility. Even after I offered to pay for it to be fixed, the designated fitter never arrived to do the job, except for the initial inspection for which he demanded a full payment, after nearly a dozen calls from me. There was a dispute over who supply the grill. I though Magnet would as the negotiated fee included the grill, and they are a kitchen supplier. But the fitter said, no we don't and shall I get one from the local hardware shop? I said I didn't want any cheap grill I wanted a proper Magnet grill.
I have waited several months for the fitter to come back, but gave up in the end and took this matter to the retail manager (Brentford branch), but she completely failed to grasp the severity of the matter. After failing to return my calls several times, I was finally told that I would be hearing from the designer NEXT WEEK, and it was Tuesday. Total lack of professionalism. Dishonesty. Lack of work ethics. Never go there, you will be totally let down.
