Bad Points

Rude, arrogant check-in staff and cabin crew (return flight). Totally money orientated with no customer focus at all.


General Comments

15 kg allowance for 2 week long haul holiday is totally inadequate, costs £10 per kg over your allowance. Check in queue took 70 minutes as they lumped ALL Thomas Cook flights together. Despite arriving 4 hours before departure, had only 15 minutes before boarding having got through controls.

Return flight delayed 1 hour because of failure to complete paperwork before storm stopped airport operations. Coldest flight I have ever endured yet front of aircraft was an oven. When we asked for a warm drink to heat us up we were told that coffee was available yet cost £2. Head cabin boy said TC is a business and he did not have authority to issue a free drink or everyone will want one - guess what - you're failure to supply a working aircraft caused the problem in the first place; get the authority. Totally rude, arrogant, uncaring, non-customer focussed.

If you fly TC be prepared to be mugged, lied to and then told to read the small print. Not my first run in with TC but certainly the last. Please use another company even if it costs more at the outset as Thomas Cook have ways to open the wallet better than Fagin.
