Good Points

I thought the good poitns would have been the fact fact that i booked with jet2 and hertz on the jet2 site all at one go and would make things easier, it was not and i would not use them again.


Bad Points

The type of car I booked was not offered in the first place, I had to argue with them, we always book our hire cars to collect and return at airport direct because on the convenience, not to get on a bus and be messed about. If the website had have said that we had to return to depot and then get on a bus I would not have booked with them, i would have used another company but there is no mention of this when you book on line for Faro Airport Portugal. we find there service very displeasing and unsatifactory.


General Comments

we hired with hertz car rental through jet2 for collect and return at faro airport portugal 7thmay to 11th may 2009. booked an estate type car because we wanted the room which on their listing was an astra or similar but was classed as a wagon estate. On arrival we were given an ordinary ford focus and had to argue, then given a kia but the luggage cover was busted, then given a peugeot 207 hatchback, finally given a ford focus estate which was old and very badly scartched. We later found the car was smelling badly with a sickly smell which seemed it had not been deep cleaned properly, also we were told we had to return the car on compeletion of hire to their depot on approach to airport, they would then bus us in with our luggage, i told them on the website i booked that the return was highlighted as return to airport, the staff said its changed and thats what we would have to do.
