Bad Points

Can look a bit cakey (might give double wear light a try)
Flash photography makes you look dead.


General Comments

True to its word, Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation stays on your face, not on your clothes!
PERFECT colour match for my skin tone Ok, I used to use max factor colour adapt make-up, which was ok but didn't really give me the coverage I wanted. I never have a lot of money and I didn't want to start buying tonnes of high street make-up to find a new one. My friend recently went to our local department store and SWEARS by double wear. They matched her colour in the store and applied it with some powder and blusher for free, so I thought I'd go and try it (I've heard such amazing things said about it!)

I thought it was quite expensive for what you get, I have fairly normal skin, a slightly oily nose and a slightly dry forehead, I immediately noticed the cakeyness around the dry areas. however when I use it without the powder and blend with my fingers it seems to minimise this. She matched my colour perfectly (bone - not a v nice name lol) and its true to its word - it doesnt BUDGE! or smudge or rub off. I thought my skin looked the same as with my other foundation on, although maybe a little more covered.

I was reading the other reviews for this product and one person mentioned the flash photography aspect - i wore this on a night out a few days ago and every photo with flash has made me look like a complete ghost! yes - it makes your skin look better in most photos but ones with flash I looked like a zombie! Apart from that though I'd say its a fairly good product, but I wouldn't rush to buy more of it once this bottle runs out.
