Bad Points

It lacked the extras e.g. only shampoo and soap provided in the room. We felt the price of drinks and tours excessive e.g. $7 for cocktail of the day. When the weather was too cool for being on deck, we found the ship felt cramped. In particular there was a problem finding seating in the Windjammer and other cafes. Popular entertainment sometimes also involved lenghty queuing.

General Comments

Beautful ship with the WOW factor. Staff and service very good. Food mostly good, if a bit repetitive, and well-presented. The cabin was big and we appreciated the kettle, Everywhere is kept immaculately clean. Travelled on Royal Caribbean, Independence of the Seas on the 25th April sailing from Southampton to the Med. and enjoyed ourselves. Our view is that it's a great ship for families, but had a few reservations for mature couples who want a relaxing holiday and to visit on-shore sights..
