My Husband and I, along with our 3 daughters have just spent a long weekend at Quay West Haven holiday park. We all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and would definitely consider returning there. We did upgrade to a luxury caravan and found this to be excellent. Very spacious and clean. I usually find that the caravan toilets do have a urine smell about them but the two toilets in this one didn't at all.

We did run out of gas but the gas bottle was replaced within half an hour which we thought was excellent.

The kitchen area was of a decent size with all the facilities you need for a weekend or weeks holiday. Living area in the caravan was very spacious allowing for a seating area around the table aswell as a large lounge area for chilling out and watching tv etc.

My two elder children attended the kids club in the morning which they enjoyed and also had a picnic with Bradley the Bear which was lovely for them as they got to keep their wicker picnic baskets.

Evening entertainment for children was great too - it kicked off with the characters doing a little show, followed by family bingo and onto dancing and games with the fun factor reps. The entertainment staff were really good with the kids and the entertainments manager, was a real talent (she used to be on Biker Grove you know!). There were plenty of dance routines for the kids to copy.

We tended to eat in the caravan but I did have a Sunday lunch in the restaurant which was really quite good - it was a carvery and the chef served up a very generous helping of beef and lamb and obviously as much veg as you like.

My husband took our daughters swimming whilst I ate my lunch and looked after the baby. The changing room facilities were perfectly adequate and the pool itself was clean - although not overly large but ideal for the amount of guests using it at that time. There is an outside pool which is just being completed and is due to open this month sometime. The only bad point I came across was in the show bar - there are far too many tables crammed into the space - obviously there are alot of guests with pushchairs who attend in the evenings and you literally just cannot get through the maze of chairs and tables. I can see that they probably need this much seating in high season but it was far from busy when we were there.
