I thought Sainsbury's were a respectable insurer until the time came to claim! After speaking to 2 claims advisers and receiving 2 letters regarding my claim for £450, on the third phone call (me to them), they told me that my policy had in fact been cancelled (they admitted it was their fault - human error!) and they refused to pay out. My complaint is now being escalated to AXA and I am in touch with the Financial Ombudsman - use this company at your peril!
