General Comments

I insured my car and moved my home insurance to Direct Line as the customer service for the car insurance was acceptable. I have now raised a claim on my home insurance - not only are they non-responsive, their service is non-existent.
Following a telephone statement via their validation centre, they said they'll send the statement to me to sign. What I received was a letter stating that I need to write the statement again (3rd time) and send it back to them. They have also pointed out that they have gone back on my claim history and found 3 previous claims since 2005 and stated that they might not have insured me at the time of inception if they knew about the claims.

The validation centre claim advisor has been extremely rude and disrespectful.
