Good Points

Possible £100 switching cashback, and possible incentive for introducing a friend.
Good interest rates for the first year only.


Bad Points

Clearance periods longer than for other banks.
Poor interest rates after the first year.
Very poor online banking system.
Abysmal branch customer service - the staff do not want to do anything for the customers.


General Comments

Just left Alliance & Leicester after being a current account customer. Joined when the interest rates were quite good, but the rates are now poor.
