Good Points

Reasonable battery life.


Bad Points

Screen freezing, poor zoom on camera, hard buttons and most of all, the tendancy for the phone to randomly die on you!!


General Comments

I don't usually write complaining reviews but boy, the Sony Ericsson K850i is a bad phone.
I'm on my 4th handset in just over a year. Every time, it started switching itself off at random and eventually, switches off and never comes back on again. Every time, I went onto the Sony Ericsson website for the suggested software upgrade which was supposed to fix the problem but it never did.
I'm a total text addict and have found the buttons very hard on the thumbs- I've now even got hard skin on them!!
The camera is good when not using the zoom but as soon as I use it to zoom in very close, the picture becomes distorted and fuzzy badly.
The only positive really is that the battery life is reasonable. Other than that, this is a nightmare of a handset. My contract is due an upgrade in about a month so I can't wait to finally wave goodbye to the K850i forever!!
