None - I do not use telephone banking or internet banking though I have used the latter in the past so haven't rated this


General Comments

I re-opened a current account with Nat West because I already had a basic bank account with them and wanted a cheque book etc. They also have a large branch network

The branch I use most frequently appears to be the busiest of the main banks in town aside from Nationwide branch and is centrally located and has recently had a replacement internal ATM installed and is clean and tidy.

The staff are friendly and helpful and even though I don't have an overdraft the bank paid a cheque even though I had no overdraft with them which was for a deposit and month's rent in advance - when a cheque I paid in wasn't paid. It was really good of them to do that and to have faith in me paying the money back straight away which I have- I would recommend Natwest Deal branch they really do give good and professional service and out of the East Kent branches other than Canterbury City Centre the branch in Deal is the most modern and up to date, most other Nat West town branches don't even have an internal ATM only an external one Deal has both
