Good Points

Lots of output options for viewing recorded pictures or video, in HD if required. 16 x zoom. Great daytime picture quality.
Nice design with easy to reach buttons.
Lots of options when recording to enhance playback.


Bad Points

If its quite dark picture quality can suffer slightly.
Battery included runs out far too quickly and needs changing.
Memory card included is 4Gb and needs upgrading to AT LEAST 8Gb.


General Comments

The Panasonic HDC-SD20is a nice compact camcorder with touchscreen interface an full HD output.
Good face recognition software and picture stability.
I recommend this product, but be aware that the battery and memory card included need changing/upgrading.

Overall I love to camcorder, despite the battery and memory card issues, easy to use straight out of the box with more indepth options for more advanced users.
