Talk talk are the worst company EVER! I have been sworn at by advisors, been hung up on, been promised call back afetr call back. Had over £160 taken from my account illegally by them and so on. In the end i e-mailed the chief executive direct and have been given a lifetimes supply of free broadband, all my money back and compensation of a fair amount! Let me just make this clear, i was never rude to them, i got frustrated yes, but never rude, my niece works in a call centre and always lectures the family on speaking well to call centre advisors because they are just doing their job.

It all started when we signed up to their "FREE" broadband package. We took the landline on free calls 24/7 and got told the broadband would be free. then for 8 months talk talk took money from our accoutn fro broadabnd. We tried on many occasions to sort this out but always got told we were lying and we wernt sold it free because there isnt free broadband in our area. We fought and fought, faxed of copies of our contract stating it was free and eventually after 6 months of fighting we cancelled the direct debit, they then charged us a non direct debit fee every month and kept restricting our broadband.

In the end after 12 months of fighting my niece stepped in to help because i was emotionally drained from fighting.

She rang on many occasions, also got sworn at, hung up on, promised call backs which were never given, accused of lying and even told that because she was lying the guy was not willing to get his supervisor as we were "wasting his time". She then e-maield the chief executive directly after alot of digging to find his e-mail address and it finally got sorted, but not before they requested she (having just had a knee op) walk into her local town (she lives about 200 miles from us) and show a carphone warehouse person that the contract states free.
She got apologised to for everything, got given a lifetimes supply of free broadband, all my money back in the form of a cheque and compensation.
If it wasnt for the fact we need a talk talk line to continue with the free broadband we would run very very fast from talk talk.
